Please allow me to nerd out on the 🌿details🌿 in this bathroom! This was the only room in the house that didn’t have wood ceilings so I knew I had to bring in some other new-old elements to make it fit with the rest of the home.1️⃣ This flea market mirror brought in that deep wood tone the space needed, paired with these beaded tassel sconces for a pop of bolder green and a Buy Nothing group art score! 2️⃣ Found a broken bed frame for $10 at the thrift store and had our handyman cut the top off to use as a header above the shower. It hides the curtain rod and gives an elegant built-in feeling. I LOVE IT SO MUCH!3️⃣ This bathroom is off the teal bunk room and I wanted to pull that color in here a bit... this rug was IT!!! It has all the shades of green but primarily is that unexpected pop of teal.4️⃣ The lights up that tile so perfectly and I wanted the dual shower curtains to frame and dramatically draw your eye to that. They give an old theater feel which we all know I love. Plus that long ledge has been a great alternative to a standard niche! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s all about the details! 🌿
