This happens often and I don’t really talk about it, but this one was a real bummer so I thought I would. In 2018 I made this advent calendar for our family to use year after year and it’s one of my most favorite projects I’ve shared. Each day of December, our son pulls a little present out of the pocket and stacks it in the truck. But a few weeks ago, you all started to send me photos of this (swipe ➡️) advent calendar released asking why it looked so similar to mine. 😔I am such a champion of Target. I’m there multiple times a week, I cheer on the incredible and important collaborations they’ve done over the last several years and I genuinely love their products. So it’s just extra disappointing to see things like this. Maybe at least change the colors? 🤷🏻‍♀️Thank you to everyone who has shared it with me and expressed their support & concern. 🎄 I hope more brands continue to collaborate with creators, artists and DIYers instead of pursuing this route.
